Three different types of membership are available - Seniors for all those of the age of 18 or over, juniors for all those under 18 and associate members. The rules for Juniors also apply to vulnerable adults . For potential junior members this application must be completed by a parent, legal guardian or authorised carer. This also applies to any person of 18 years of age or over but, through mental or physical attributes, requires a higher level of supervision than would be normally commensurate with an adult. We require that a responsible adult, actively representing the welfare and security of the child or vulnerable adult, be present at all times during the individual's attendance at the flying field or at any other venue under the Club's direct control. Subsequent communication by email between juniors/vulnerable adults and the club must be copied to the parent, legal guardian or authorised carer.
The current annual membership costs are approximately £90 per year for seniors and £45 for juniors but please contact the secretary for up-to-date prices. Remember, you also need current BMFA membership and be registered with the CAA.
